On November 22, Estonian Foreign Minister Urmas Paet made several statements at the meeting with EU foreign Ministers in Brussels. The meeting focused preparations for EU-Russia summit, to be held on December 7.

“It is important for European Union to emphasize respect for Georgia’s territorial integrity and urge Russia to step up efforts to resolve conflicts in Nagorno-Karabakh and Transdniestra. Estonia also considers significant Russia’s membership to World Trade Organization,” press service of Estonian Foreign office cites the minister.

The diplomat also stressed the dialogue on visa-free regime between EU and Russia should be underway. However, according to him, “all conditions should be fulfilled” to lift visa regime.
