The “Ensuring environmental safety and democratic development” NGO, as well as a dozen environmental organization, are going to lodge a claim against the Armenian Government and demand the invalidation of all the decisions on development of U-mines, Artur Ghazaryan, Chairman of the “Ensuring environmental safety and democratic development” NGO, told journalists Nov. 23. He pointed out that the environmentalists are going to file a class suit next year.

Inga Zarafyan, the head of the Ecolur NGO, stated that prospecting for a landfill got under way near the village of Zangakatun this June-July.
