Armenian President’s approval rating is higher than ranking of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) headed by him, says the survey ordered by the European Friends of Armenia.

A total of 28% of respondents would back Serzh Sargsyan if the parliamentary elections were scheduled for Sunday, whereas only 21% would give their votes to the RPA.

The Prosperous Armenia is supported by 26% of pollees, while its leader Gagik Tsarujyan – by 10%.

The approval rating of ARF Dashnaktsutyun totals 7%, Orinats Yerkir – 4%, while ANC – 3%.

A total 5% of respondents would give their votes to Robert Kocharyan, while 4% - to Levon Ter-Petrosyan.

Public opinion poll was conducted among 1210 residents of Yerevan and regions of Armenia.
