YEREVAN.—The citizens of Qatar will be able to travel to Armenia without a visa. The decision was approved at a meeting of Armenian Government on Thursday and will come into force since June 10.
As it was noted, there is a direct flight between the two countries, which also serves as transit. In addition, more citizens of Qatar arrive in Armenia, basically, as tourists, but there are also potential investors in agriculture, healthcare and real estate.
As Deputy Foreign Minister Shavarsh Kocharyan noted, at the moment Armenia is discussing liberalization of visa regime with some other countries.
