Thanks to CleanArmenia hashtag, citizens have become more active in the struggle against trash, more photos against trash being posted.

First Deputy Head of State Tourism Committee of the Ministry of Economic Development and Investments of Armenia, Mekhak Apresyan, told the aforementioned to Armenian News – NEWS.am.

Using this hashtag one can send a photo with trash to the Facebook page of the State Committee, which in its turn sends them to the municipal authorities.

“It should be noted that after this trash is quickly collected. This is often done by volunteers and with the support of local authorities. Then we post photos of the situation “before” and “after,” Apresyan stressed.

Earlier, Prime Minister of Armenia Karen Karapetyan stated about the need to struggle for cleanness several times.
