YEREVAN. – In actual fact, healthcare data regarding Armenia raise concerns, said environmentalist Karine Danielyan, at a press conference on Saturday.
In her words, the negative impact on the environment is considerable.
As per Danielyan, track-record shows that all countries that have not undergone universal privatization have not suffered, and they have had fewer losses.
The Intellectuals’ Forum of Armenia demands from the Armenian government to stop privatization of the state-owned companies that are of utmost importance to the country.
As reported earlier, the government recently approved the 2017-2020 privatization plan, which envisions the privatization of 47 state-owned companies.
The state expects to make Armenian drams equivalent to approximately US$74 million from the sale of these companies.
