YEREVAN. - The entire humanity is trying to solve ecological issues but Armenia is not serious about them.

Environmentalist Karine Danielyan told the aforementioned to journalists on Saturday, during the discussion on the World Environment Day, which is marked on June 5.

In her words, the Earth has entered into a fight with the humanity, since we give no peace to it, exploiting the nature more and more actively. The natural calamities, which happen currently, are indicative of this,” Danielyan said.

Touching on the “Clean Armenia” program, she noted that the country is covered with trash. “Development of tourism is out of the question. And if this program is implemented, progress will be recorded in at least the sphere of tourism.”
