I don’t rule out that there will be development outside the parliament, which may lead to a force majeure situation, leader of Ohanyan-Raffi-Oskanian (ORO) Bloc, Seyran Ohanyan, told Radio Liberty on Tuesday.
“I don’t rule out that there will be developments outside the parliament and that they may lead to a force majeure situation, since a political system has been formed, which can be said to have ensured the presence of the most depoliticized parliament, since [despite] having great respect toward many [political] figures and businessmen, they nevertheless, don’t express the interests of the people in the parliament. The voice of the people should be heard,” Ohanyan noted.
Ohanyan also explained what he meant by “a force majeure situation.”
“That is, if the situation emerged in Armenia continues, certain actions will definitely have to be taken to eliminate those negative phenomena in the country,” he said.
Furthermore, the former defense minister added that he is against animosity in politics and doesn’t consider it as a political category.
