YEREVAN. – The Minister of Nature Protection of Armenia, Artsvik Minasyan, on Thursday had a work meeting with President Serzh Sargsyan.

Minasyan presented a report on the ongoing reforms in the domain he is in charge of, the current projects, and the ways to resolve the respective matters, informed the press office of the President.  

Sargsyan, in turn, instructed to commence work toward the creation of a single forest management system in Armenia, and to intensify the activities aimed at launching the nature-foreign debt mechanism.  

Also, the President discussed the avenues for the conservation of Lake Sevan and the restoration of its ecosystem and gave relevant instructions.
