YEREVAN. - Secretary of Yelk faction, Gevorg Gorgesyan, asked Speaker of Armenian Parliament Ara Babloyan to refrain from voting on the privatization program and declare conflict of interests.

Gorgesyan made the aforementioned statement on Thursday before voting on the 2017-2020 Privatization Program.

Among other acts put to vote is the state package of shares of Yerevan’s Arabkir Medical Center, which Babloyan managed before becoming an academic supervisor.

“I want to understand what conflict of interests you are talking about,” Babloyan noted.

The program includes 47 enterprises, including HayPost national post operator and Armenfilm film studio.
