YEREVAN. – Three servicemen from the Armed Forces of Armenia are participating in the 50th World Military Orienteering Championship (WMOC) 2017 which is held in Hamina, Finland.

The Armenian soldiers are competing in the middle distance (7 to 8 kilometers) and the relay programs of the WMOC, the Ministry of Defense informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The International Military Sports Council (CISM) is the organizer of this event.

Armenia is a CISM member since 1994.
