NATO is concerned with settlement of regional conflicts and supportive of relevant political talks, Robert Simmons, NATO Secretary General’s Special Representative for the Caucasus and Central Asia, stated at discussions at NATO Headquarters in Brussels, attended by public representatives from Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia.

Simmons stated that NATO is open to new members, including Azerbaijan. However, NATO expansion implies steps not only by NATO, but also by potential members, the Trend News Agency reports, quoting Simmons.
