OSCE MG Co-Chairs will not present new proposals on resolution of the Karabakh conflict, French Co-Chair Bernard Fassier told the journalists in Baku.

Asked about new proposals, Fassier said that Madrid Principles were presented to the sides 3 years ago and since then the mediators have been working on the document to remove specific difficulties.

French Co-Chair refused to comment on reports concerning Minsk Group’s response to Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan’s refusal to participate in the Astana summit. He said he cannot answer the question on Sargsyan’s participation in the summit, calling it hypothetical. It is impossible to answer hypothetical questions in life and diplomacy, he added.
