YEREVAN. - The electoral period is not the best time to ensure the economic growth.

Deputy Speaker of the Armenian National Assembly (NA) Eduard Sharmazanov told the aforementioned to Armenian News – NEWS.am, referring to the results of the work carried out by the Government led by Karen Karapetyan.

“In all countries the electoral period is not the best time for ensuring the economic growth, but there are positive trends,” Sharmazanov noted.

He recalled that the Armenian President appointed Karen Karapetyan to the post of a prime minister, giving him a chance to continue the launched reforms. “Karapetyan’s representatives will precisely tell about the general and sectoral points of the Government program in a few days,” the Deputy Speaker said.

Referring to the 850 million investments in the Armenian economy promised by Karapetyan, Sharmazanov noted: “The year has not ended yet. I think the prime minister will have a chance to respond to all the questions.”

He also added that the Government program, which will be introduced in the Armenian parliament on June 19, should be discussed and brought into a proper form at the session of the Executive Body of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) on Friday.
