Information was received on Tuesday at 12pm from Colonel A. Ghazaryan, the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) of Armenia representative at the embassy of Armenia in Moscow.

Accordingly, three of the people who were injured in the road accident in Russia, and who were hospitalized, are in moderate condition. In addition, Roza Geghamyan (born in 2005) will be discharged from hospital on Tuesday, her brother Karlen Geghamyan (born in 2002) will undergo surgery, and their mother Aida Hakobyan (born in 1983) is still in moderate condition.

A truck and a minibus, in which there were 20 people and was en route from Armenia’s capital city of Yerevan to Moscow, collided on June 18, on a highway in Tula Oblast (province) of Russia, the MES informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

As a result, one person—Russian citizen Otar Nasirov (born in 1961)—died, and nine others—including Armenians—were injured. The injured were hospitalized; but later, some of them were checked out.

And the Ministry of Health informed that virtually of those still hospitalized have suffered concussion and broken bones. Four of the injured are in moderate condition, whereas another two are in satisfactory condition.
