The strong wind storm has damaged the roofs of houses and transmission lines in Yerevan, also having uprooted several trees, the press-service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia informed Armenian News – NEWS.am.

The trees fell on a car nearby Hotel DoubleTree by Hilton, near Shirak Hotel on Zakyan street, as well as on the roofs and in the yards of houses.

The roofs of several houses have been damaged in different districts.

The wind speed was 12m/s, the gust of the wind reaching 20 m/s.

No report has been received on casualties and injured.
