A new Georgian ambassador to Armenia will be appointed in the near future, as well as new Armenian ambassador to Georgia. The Georgian side has already named the new ambassador –Tengiz Sharmanashvili. Hovhannes Manukuyan, former chairman of the RA Court of Cassation, will hold a post of Armenian Ambassador to Georgia. Having no diplomatic experience he will replace Hrach Silvanyan.

People having no diplomatic experience have been recently appointed as country’s ambassadors to different countries: Vladimir Badalyan (Turkmenistan), singer Charles Aznavour (Switzerland), builder Murad Muradyan (Iraq), businessmen and former minister Andranik Manukyan (Ukraine).

Unlike them newly appointed ambassador to NATO Armen Yedigaryan is one of the most experienced diplomats of Armenia.
