Armenia should form a political military alliance with Nagorno-Karabakh, ARFD MP Armen Rustamyan told the reporters on December 8.  The parliamentarian stressed he submitted the draft bill for discussion in the Armenian parliament.

According to Rustamyan, the formation of the alliance will mean Armenia recognizes Nagorno-Karabakh de facto and becomes a security guarantor of Karabakh and its people.

Rustamyan cited Turkey’s intrusion into Northern Cyprus which was presented as a step aimed at ensuring Cypriots’ security.

Rustamyan also expressed bewilderment that Armenian Government approved the draft bill, but has not yet discussed it.
