Turkey, Syria, Jordan and Lebanon are considering the establishment of a high-level quartet cooperation council, Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu stated at the joint press conference with Syrian Foreign Minister Walid Moallem.

Davutoglu said that the 51 agreements signed between Turkey and Syria last year, will be discussed during the second meeting of High-Level Strategic Cooperation, scheduled for December 21, Xinhua agency reports.

On December 9, Walid Moallem left for an official visit to Turkey.
