EU keeps track of the negotiation process on Karabakh conflict, Gunnar Wiegand, European Commission’s Director for Eastern Europe, South Caucasus and Central Asia told a press conference in Yerevan.

He stressed EU is ready to assist the Minsk Group efforts to resolve Karabakh conflict, particularly to establish a dialogue between Armenia, Karabakh and Azerbaijan. According to the EU diplomat, EU is seeking cooperation with organizations in the three countries.

In her turn, Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Karine  Ghazinyan said EU gives prerogative to OSCE Minsk Group on the Karabakh conflict resolution. “EU’s stance on the Karabakh issue is similar to that of Armenia,” Ghazinyan stressed.
