The Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic hosted the joint tactical training of military formations and units of the Azerbaijani armed forces located on the country’s territory, Trend News reports.

The exercises demonstrated small arms, optical equipment and night vision equipment, weapons modernized in the Azerbaijani military and industrial enterprises used by the border troops. There was also demonstrated a set of Cornet guided missiles, which has the ability to destroy enemy armored vehicles, both day and night, at distances of up to 5,000 meters.

The Emergency Situations Ministry also demonstrated its machinery and special equipment during the exercises.

The Special Forces and intelligence services are equipped with the latest laser, optical devices of night and day vision, silent weapons, which allows shooting with high accuracy from a long and close distance, personal communications, providing reliable communications in mountainous terrain and uniforms, used under various climatic conditions.
