On December 17, Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan signed a decree on removing Head of State Social Security Service Vazgen Khachikyan from his post, RA Governmental press service informed NEWS.am.

As NEWS.am reported previously, in early December Armenian media disseminated information Khachikyan’s health deteriorated after RA Control Chamber detected flagrant violations during checkups into the State Social Security Service. However, the latter had refuted the resignation reports.

“I left for Moscow for medical examination for several days and returned home on Sunday. Now I am at my workplace and I am working to my regular schedule,” he had said, commenting on his resignation reports.
