The Heritage party sees little hope of development in certain spheres after recent reshuffle. The staff changes are aimed at bringing new blood into Armenia’s swampy political arena, Stepan Safaryan, head of Heritage parliamentary group, told NEWS.am. According to him, the recent reshuffle is PR rather than politically motivated move. “If political arena is swamp certain staff changes are made to simulate some processes. It is one of the mechanisms of political technology. I think that recent government reshuffle should be considered in this context, as far as authorities fail to explain reasoning that led to their decisions,” Safaryan said. The MP does not expect anything from newly appointed ministers and Yerevan mayor, as “appointing them president gave no precise instructions to put an end to corruption or carry out make serious changes.”

Yesterday head of ARFD parliamentary group Vahan Hovhannisyan also stressed one should not expect positive breakthrough as the problems refer not to certain individuals but structure on the whole.
