Georgian delegation in PACE proposed to exclude their Russian counterparts from the PACE session poll scheduled September 28-October 2, 2009 reasoning it failed to implement PACE resolutions. The document was signed by 70 MPs from Poland, Lithuania, Ukraine, Turkey, Great Britain, Czech Republic and other states.

According to PACE regulations, 20 parlamentarian signatures are sufficient to bring the proposal up.

Earlier, PACE Monitoring Commission did not support the proposal to debar Russia from voting at the autumn session in connection with South Ossetia events in 2008.

The Commission report on provisions' implementation by Moscow and Tbilisi of the 2008 October resolution will be considered.
