September 13, President of Iran Mahmoud Ahmadinejad signed a decree on appointment of Reza Rahimi as the first Vice-President of Iran, Iranian Press TV reports.
Kurd by origin, Rahimi (60) was previously holding a post of Kurdistan governor and presently is considered one of the mot staunch allies of Ahmadinejad, the source says.
