The Kremlin finds that the extension of US sanctions on Russia is unlawful, and it harms the peoples of not only Russia and the United States, but also of the world, said Russian presidential spokesperson Dmitry Peskov, speaking to reporters.
“This is not our agenda issue,” he said. “As the [Russian] President noted, we [Russia] have not been the initiators of those sanctions.”
The White House had announced that President Donald Trump extended certain US sanctions on Russia for one year.
