Ankara has no problems with Moscow because of Turkey’s Olive Branch operation in Afrin, Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan said during a press conference on board the plane, returning from a tour of African countries.

“In Afrin we do not have any contradictions with Russia. In Idlib, a process is under way to establish observation posts. In the future, a tripartite summit (Russia-Turkey-Iran), similar to the Sochi summit, is planned in Istanbul. There, we will have an opportunity to assess and discuss all the issues,” TRT quotes Erdogan as saying.

Turkey launched an operation against the Kurds in Afrin on January 20. Damascus strongly condemned Turkey's actions in Africa, noting that this territory is an integral part of Syria
