September 17-18, U.S. Ambassador to Armenia Marie Yovanovitch paid a short visit to Shirak Marz. The purpose of the visit was to study social, economic, and political issues, Embassy’s PR Department informed NEWS.am.

The Ambassador visited the South Caucasus Railway Company (SCRC), observed operations at the Bavra checkpoint on the Georgian border and acquainted herself with the implementation of health projects sponsored by USAID.

Today Yovanovitch held a discussion with NGO representatives at the Asperaz Press Club. She concluded her visit with a tour of the Gala TV studio.
