General Debate at the 64th Session of the UN General Assembly commences September 23.

U.S. President Barack Obama will chair the special session of U.N. Security Council on preventing the spread of the nuclear weapons and eradicating the atomic arsenals.

In New York Barack Obama and his Russian counterpart Dmitry Medvedev intend to discuss the issues on Iran’s military ambitions as well as the anti-missile defense system in Europe. They will deliver speeches September 23. Azerbaijani and Iranian Presidents — Ilham Aliyev and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad will also participate in debates.

Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili will take a floor September 24, whereas RA Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyans’ speech is scheduled on September 28.
