Corrections concerning Armenian and Kurdish issues were made in Turkish manuals, Turkish media informs.

Turkish textbooks now read “Turkish-Armenian Relations” instead of “Armenians were the Cause of the Problem”. The following was added in the new edition: “Statements made by Armenians concerning the 1915 events now and then appear on the agenda of international community. In our archives there are many written documents on the issue. The Republic of Turkey makes the archives open for public studies.”

A paragraph below reads: “Majority of Armenians that peacefully coexist with Muslims in Anatolia deny these events. Armenians who acted against Armenian secret organizations were punished by the latter.”
