“Azerbaijan plays crucial role in European energy security,” according to Azerbaijani MFA, Michelin Calmy-Rey stated during the meeting with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov in New York.
Azerbaijani Minister informed his Swiss counterpart about Karabakh peace process, underlining that it is impossible to maintain peace and security in the region without Karabakh conflict settlement.
The meeting was held in the framework of the 64th Session of the UN General Assembly.
