Report of the OSCE assessment mission on situation in the Karabakh conflict zone is presented to the Azerbaijani side, OSCE French co-chair Bernard Fassier said at today’s press conference, Azerbaijani Trend news agency reports.
“The OSCE Minsk Group decided not to publish report until all the sides get familiar with the content. The report has been submitted to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. He will study it as well as the other conflicting party, later it will be discussed by co-chairs and the sides during the next meeting,” Fassier said.
“We always insisted on necessity to maintain ceasefire regime. Co-Chairs have been urging the sides for already two years to remove snipers from the line of contact. If the proposal were fulfilled, no incident would occur,” he noted.
