On March 15, the draw for the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest was conducted in the Dusseldorf Arena.

On May 10, Armenia’s representative Emmy will be the 4th to perform in the Semi-Final 1.

Emmy’s song “Boom Boom” (music by Hayk Harutyunyan and Hayk Hovhannisyan, lyrics by Sosi Khanikyan) for Dusseldorf was chosen in a public national final out of four entries. The song was chosen by a 50/50 mixture of televoting and the verdict of an expert jury.
