Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday signed a decree as regards naming the Simferopol International Airport after renowned sea painter Ivan Aivazovsky, RIA Novosti reported.
The decree comes into force from the date of its signing.
Ivan Aivazovsky (Hovhannes Aivazian) was a Russian Armenian painter who is considered one of the greatest masters of marine art.
