Armenian MP Viktor Dallakyan addressed Parliament Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan with a proposal to discuss during a break opportunity to call on leader of the Heritage Party to stop hunger strike. March 21 marks the seventh day of Raffi Hovannisian’s “Fasting for Liberty” in Liberty Square of Yerevan.

Dallakyan also proposed to discuss the opportunity to visit Hovannisian in Liberty Square. The proposal was welcomed by the Armenian Speaker.

Hovik Abrahamyan stressed he had discussed reasons for Hovannisian’s hunger strike with the head of Heritage parliamentary group Stepan Safaryan. “However, I was not told about the reasons,” said the Speaker. Nevertheless, he agreed to support Dalakyan’s proposal.
