Croatian President Ivo Josipovic’s visit to Armenia will give new impetus to the development of Armenia-Croatia relations, Armenian Foreign Minister stated at the meeting with Speaker of Croatian Parliament Luka Bebic on March 21.

The sides stressed that Armenian and Croatian Presidents’ mutual visits in 2009 contributed significantly to expansion of bilateral relations, the press service of Armenian Foreign Office informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The officials emphasized the parliamentary cooperation had a positive impact not only on bilateral relations, but also on cooperation within international agencies. The sides also discussed the improvement of contractual underpinnings, as well as enhancement of trade and economic and cultural ties.

The diplomats exchanged views on Armenia-EU cooperation, as well international and regional issues.

Nalbandian presented the Croatian Speaker the latest developments to in the Karabakh peace process.
