September 26, the intergovernmental commission sitting, headed by RA National Security Council Secretary Artur Baghdasaryan on Armenia’s cooperation with European organizations took place.

The issues on Armenia-EU Action Plan implementation for 2009-2011 within Eastern Partnership program were discussed. Twenty working groups were created for the fulfillment of 197 actions on major issues: politics, law, substructure, humanities, environment, health care, economics, finance and trade.

RA Deputy Foreign Minister Karine Ghazinyan underlined that Armenia is proposed to sign association agreements within EU European Partnership program.

At the suggestion of the RA Ombudsman Armen Harutyunyan a working group for the discussion of the legislative amendments bill elaborated by Ombudsman’s office and European experts was formed.
