President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan said Turkey would conduct an operation in the eastern bank of Euphrates, north of Syria, in the region controlled by Kurds, Reuters reported.

Turkey lost patience because of the United States as they earlier agreed to create a safe zone inside Syria’s northeastern border with Turkey that would be cleared of the Kurdish YPG militia.

Erdogan said they had informed Russia and the United States about the planned operation.
