In New Armenia, the concepts of family and home shall have new relations with the homeland, with the society and the statehood. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan noted this in a Facebook post.

“Sadly, a reality has been formed for many years when numerous vicious phenomena have often been legitimized at us by the values of taking care of a family, having a home,” he wrote, in particular. “As a result, we have had a reality when corruption systems have put the family interest in contrast with the public interest.

“I am convinced that in New Armenia, the concepts of family and home shall have new relations with the homeland, with the society and the statehood where the family interest shall not be in contrast with the public interest.

“Armenia is my home, the people are my family.

“This should be the motto that pushes each and every one of us forward.

“This is one of the key agendas of the value transformation of New Armenia.

“Each and every Armenian in the world can confidently say: Armenia is my home, the people are my family. And the Armenian people imbued with such unity are indomitable and invincible.”
