Russia’s Alexander Kerzhakov broke his hand during Armenia-Russia match in Yerevan. The Russian football player passed an examination in a clinic in Doha, where the preliminary diagnosis was confirmed by X-ray-a closed fracture of the fourth metacarpal bone of the right hand. Kerzhakov featured in the starting lineup and was replaced by Pavel Pogrebnyak in the 78th minute.
Kerzhakov will not play in the friendly match with Qatar on March 29. He will recover in three weeks.
