US President Donald Trump has confirmed the conduct of trade talks with China in September, CNBC reported. 

The US on Sunday again increased tariffs by 15% for another group of goods from China in the amount of 300 billion dollars. According to the American Association of Clothing and Shoes, 91.6% of clothing, 68.4% of home textiles, and 52.5% of shoe imports from China will fall under new duties.

“We are talking to China, the meetings in September, that hasn’t changed,” Trump told reporters Sunday on the White House South Lawn after returning from Camp David.

US President Donald Trump believes that China has no choice but to hold trade talks with the US. He insists that Beijing really wants to agree on a deal as soon as possible, since the Chinese economy is suffering losses, while the American economy only benefits from this.

Beijing protests Washington with a further tariffs increase. Chinese authorities insist that the US abandon its actions and create the conditions for the resumption of trade talks.
