A youth parliament, an advisory public body, will be formed at the Armenian National Assembly. Armenian Parliament Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan signed a relevant decree.

The RA Parliament`s press service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that Armenian citizens aged 18-30 may apply for membership in the Youth Parliament. Among the potential members are residents of Armenian regions who nominate themselves, nominees of parliamentary parties, NGOs, creative circles and state-owned educational institutions. Representatives of national minorities must constitute 3% of the Youth Parliament members.

Knowledge of foreign languages is necessary for applicants to the standing committees on foreign relations, European integration and human rights.
