YEREVAN. - The philatelic exhibition "Man and Universe" will be held in Yerevan April 7 to 13. The exhibition has been organized by the Armenian Philatelists` Union, State Engineering University of Armenia and Haypost Company. "Armenian philately has well-established traditions of organizing republican and international exhibitions. I am sure the exhibition will open a new chapter in the development of Armenian philately," said Hovik Musaelyan, Chairman of the Armenian Philatelists` Union.

Rector of State Engineering University of Armenia Vostanik Marukhyan said that the university has organized a number of local and international exhibitions in association with the Armenian Philatelists` Union. The exhibitions are aimed to stir up young people`s interest in philately. "Improving young people`s knowledge about stamps as another symbol of statehood plays a great role in forming a system of values among young people," Marukhyan said.

Armenian Minister of Transport and Communication Manuk Vardanyan and other officials are expected to attend the opening ceremony.
