September 30, 2009 at 8:00 a.m. Moscow time a major car accident occurred on St. Petersburg Ring Road. Around thirty vehicles crashed 500 meters of Viborgskoye highway, causing a traffic jam. Drivers and passengers got slight injuries.
Presently, the representatives of State Inspection for Road Traffic Safety (GIBDD) and Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, as well as psychologists are working in the emergency site.
