Armenian legislation will enable protection of our market from Turkey’s penetration with Armenian-Turkish border opening, Gagik Minasyan, the Chairman of NA Standing Committee on Financial-Credit, Budgetary and Economic Affairs told the journalists today.

“We have laws that provide protection of our market, such as &‘Domestic Market Protection’, &‘Antidumping law’, as well as sub-legislative acts that will enable the authorities to prevent the entry of dumping price goods to the market. Current situation requires the adoption of new laws,” Minasyan underlined, adding that all problems have solutions.

As to Turkey’s possible placement of ban on Armenian goods, Gagik Minasyan pointed out that Armenia can use Turkey as a transit country to export goods to EU states.
