Armenia-Turkey Protocols will be signed before the football match, Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu stated at the press conference, Turkish Haber7 website reports.
Asked whether the border opening is possible for one day on advance of the game, Davutoglu replied that the Protocols are an entity and border opening should be considered in that context. Turkish FM also spoke of the unrests during the Bursaspor-Diyarbekirspor football match in Bursa. “Football matches are fraternal games in the framework of mutual respect and we do not have any concern over Turkey-Armenia football match”, Davutoglu outlined.
Referring to the Turkish journalists’ recent much talked-of visit to Karabakh, Davutoglu said that Karabakhi entry visa in Turkish citizen’s passport is illegal, however journalistic activities in Turkey cannot be limited.
