France is satisfied with Armenian-Turkish relations’ normalization, having made its contribution to the process, French Minister of the State for European Affairs Pierre Lellouche stated.

According to him, he personally repeatedly addressed the Turkish Government with a request to open the Armenia-Turkey border.

Lellouche underlined that Karabakh conflict settlement is critical for the development of Europe and France, Armenia and the region in whole. “We welcome efforts of both sides to the peaceful resolution of the conflict,” the Minister said.

State Minister stated he also intends to visit the South Caucasus.
