The 2nd International Festival of Russian-language broadcasting has been opened in Yerevan, organized by the CITY FM Company (Armenia). It was held with the assistance of CIS International Fund for Humanitarian Cooperation and the RA Ministry of Culture.
Representatives from Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Uzbekistan and Ukraine participate in the event. The festival aims at developing cultural communication between the CIS member-countries, propagating humanitarian values and enhancing the significance of interstate cooperation.
The festival participants will elaborate programs of cooperation in information and media technologies, interregional humanitarian broadcasting projects “ABC of friendship” and “At our friends’”.
One of the major events of the Festival is broadcasters’ competition and presentation of awards in the following categories: “Contribution to Russian-language broadcasting in the CIS”, “Information-analytical program”, “Cultural program”, “Specialized program”, “Russian-language program” and “TV studio design”.
