YEREVAN. - The world weightlifting champion Nazik Avdalyan has been transported from the Nairi medical center to the Erebuni medical center.

Harutyun Mangoyan, head of the intensive care unit, told Armenian News-NEWS.am that the patient has undergone all the necessary medical procedures. As to her further career, he said that it is too early to speak of it. Mangoyan said that the Erebuni medical center has all the necessary means for treatment.

According to media reports, Avdalyan had a car accident on Gyumri-Vanadzor highway, near Jajur village.

According to preliminary diagnoses, Nazik Avdalyan suffered a spinal fracture and received an injury of bone marrow. Her heath state is esteemed as stable, she is conscious.
