Four thousand trapped people may be under the debris of the buildings toppled in devastating quake in Sumatra Island, Indonesia, RFE/RL Armenian service informs referring to the UN source.

Indonesia gets humanitarian aid from all over the world. Aid arrived in Indonesia from Great Britain, Australia, South Korea and other countries, the source says.

As NEWS.am reported earlier, according to the preliminary data, the powerful quakes on September 30 and October 1 rocked Sumatra Island killing at least 1.100 people. The earthquake leveled more than 20.000 buildings, AP reports.
